Discover El Camino

When you’re in the mood for a laid-back meal that delivers on both flavor and atmosphere, El Camino in Aurora is the place to be. Located at 15355 E Colfax Ave, this spot offers more than just your average dining experience. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual lunch or dinner with friends, the inviting vibes and mouth-watering menu options make it a top pick.

At El Camino, the ambiance sets the stage for a fun and comfortable dining experience. The décor mixes a modern, cozy vibe with a touch of rustic charm, making it the ideal spot to unwind after a busy day or enjoy a leisurely meal. It’s spacious, with an open layout, perfect for larger groups, but also intimate enough for a quiet dinner. Plus, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming feel of the restaurant.

The menu is where El Camino truly shines. Known for its inventive Mexican cuisine, the restaurant brings a twist to classic dishes, combining bold flavors and fresh ingredients. One of the most popular items on the menu is the street tacos-small, soft tortillas filled with your choice of tender meats like marinated pork, juicy chicken, or perfectly seasoned beef. For a unique flavor profile, try the crispy fish tacos, featuring battered fish topped with a zesty lime slaw that perfectly complements the crispy texture. Each taco is made fresh, bursting with flavor in every bite.

But the menu doesn’t stop at tacos. El Camino offers a variety of other mouth-watering dishes, including sizzling fajitas, hearty burritos, and flavorful quesadillas. Whether you're in the mood for something light or a dish that’s filling and satisfying, you’ll find plenty of options to choose from. For vegetarians, there are plenty of flavorful choices like the delicious vegetarian burrito, stuffed with roasted vegetables, black beans, and cheese.

For those who like a little spice, El Camino doesn’t disappoint. The salsa bar is a customer favorite, offering a range of fresh salsas from mild to extra hot. Whether you prefer the tangy taste of roasted tomatillo salsa or the bold, smoky flavors of a chipotle salsa, there’s something to satisfy every palate. The spicy kick in these salsas adds a depth of flavor that elevates each dish to new heights.

What truly sets El Camino apart, though, is the restaurant’s commitment to quality and consistency. Each dish is crafted with care, using only the freshest ingredients. The meats are tender and juicy, and the vegetables are crisp, making every bite a celebration of vibrant flavors. It’s clear that the chefs here take great pride in creating each meal from scratch, ensuring that every guest gets the best experience possible.

One thing to keep in mind is the popularity of El Camino. It’s not uncommon to see a full house, especially during peak dining hours. But that’s a testament to the restaurant’s success, and it’s worth the wait. The cozy yet lively atmosphere, along with the great food, makes it a popular choice for locals and visitors alike.

If you’re looking for a spot that combines delicious food with a relaxed, fun atmosphere, El Camino should be at the top of your list. With its friendly service, amazing menu, and welcoming environment, it's the perfect destination for anyone craving a great meal in Aurora. Whether you're a fan of Mexican cuisine or just in the mood for something new, this restaurant won’t disappoint.

  • I came here with Family sometime two years ago and it was good but I hadn’t had a chance to come back finally I went the other day with my friend I am eight months pregnant so I was extremely hungry lol I ordered the Mexican hamburger which was like eight dollars my friend ordered a torta which was also like eight dollars we got two side of fries and I ordered an extra plate of enchiladas three for seven dollars together it came up to $37.98 it was really really good I put salt and pepper on my fries and my enchiladas but other than that it was really good they charge you an extra 1.25 for Chips and salsa refills but I didn’t even get through the first basket before the food came the food came so fast and it was fresh… The staff were so nice and asked us if we wanted refills I will definitely be back

  • I tried this place close to work. It had high reviews. It’s in a strip mall. You can eat inside, there are tables but it’s also a place you can order & take to go. Not a huge restaurant. Prices are super reasonable. I ordered a smothered burrito with green chili with shredded beef. It was delicious. All the food tasted fresh. Rice was homemade & authentic tasting. Refried beans were good. I was surprised and they give you a lot of food I felt. If you get the chili rellano, they use Poblano peppers, not Anaheim. They have a lunch menu but you can order anything on lunch menu for dinner as well. It’s a family owned business that has been serving for 33 years. Very clean. Very nice workers and great customer service. It was also very fast. Plenty of parking outside. I will be going back.

  • Absolutely 5 star food and service. It's a whole in the wall place that made us hesitant at first. Didn't stop us though. Sometimes those are the best places. It odd not disappoint. It was busy the entire time we were there. The food was fresh and had that authentic Mexican flavor. The guacamole was smooth and flavorful. I had the 3 taco platter beef, chicken, and potatoe tacos. 1 of each. It also came with rice and beans. My husband had a smothered burrito. When he finished it he said "that was so good." We will definitely be back. Excellent prices too.

  • Food is good, promptly served and the service is good. Place is fairly busy, specially for pickup orders. If you're dining in, plan in waiting a bit outside of the restaurant in the most busy hours as they have very limited seating (5 tables max) available because of COVID19 guidelines. Place looks clean and looks like they sanitize often.
